Cashflows bounce back after July 1
January 2008
Bars generally in all New South Wales Hotels appear to
have rebounded and in many cases have improved in trading performance after the
introduction of non-smoking in July 2007.
After what some described as a dark period bar trading appears to have recovered
after being setback in winter 2007. Gaming too appears to have bounced back by
between 5-10% making up some of the declines experienced directly after
non-smoking was introduced.
Many venues with smoking solutions have
seen their bars grow to record sales levels and gaming hold it’s performance
during the later part of 2007.
